Alt Binaries Pictures Goes Live!
After much waiting, Alt.Binaries Pictures went live at noon today. With it comes features not previously made public, and not previously possible via any method (software or web-based).
Among these is the ability to search by poster, not only across the current picture newsgroup but across all picture newsgroups covering all dates available. This gives access to a wealth of data not within reach before. If you like a a series of pictures, filter that newsgroup for only that poster. If you want to see what else, and where else, they have posted then just click for 'More by this poster' and view everything they have posted, in every newsgroup.
Alt.Binaries Pictures focuses on putting all available data at your fingertips, in every useful way. There are over 800 viewing combinations for displaying newsgroup thumbnails. Sort by date range, filter out low quality pictures, set the number of thumbnails per page, or choose a thumbnail size from tiny to ridiculously large. Any way you would like to browse or search is at your fingertips.
